C1 goes to the library
Our library has a class for pre-preschoolers... They go in a room for a story time, songs, letter learning etc for about 30 mins. It's just kids, no parents. Last week was C1's first time. He looks a little nervous in the picture but he really didn't seem to be... He walked up and started talking to some of the other kids and was excited about going through the secret passage. A teacher came out dressed as an ant to tell the kids it was letter A day to which Cade said loudly, "there's an A in my name!" (the mother in me was proud, the teacher in me said, we've got to tea h him to raise his hand and wait, then the mother in me said, ha! As if!). There is a little tv monitor on the outside showing what's going on inside so parents can see if they wish. I watched C1 walk right in and sit on a spot right in front of the teacher and start doing some hand motions along with her that I assume was a song. I then was distracted with C2 and L at the toddler story time. So I didn't see what was going on but at the end, C1 came running out saying, "mommy I had so much fun!" He showed me the letter A he got and laughed at his coloring paper because as he told me, it said Ants in your Pants! Haha!
