It may be worth a thousand words but I'm still going to tell you everything I like about this one.
C1 and C2 captured here at breakfast doing some reading while they eat...
They are each reading dictionaries (incidentally C1's is French and C2's is Spanish -- they're prodigies, what can we say?).
They both have their hands on the books... C1 especially looks like he is doing some serious work.
C1's bed head is fabulous.
The cars lined up in between them - that's something I find all over the house... Later this morning they played with these for quite sometime. C2 carried hers around clutched in a bear hug like they were wonderful treasures. C1 reenacted and narrated many scenes from Cars with his two.
They each have a bowl of scrambled eggs and a partially eaten piece of toast.
The table and chairs they are sitting at, they love - they came from a garage sale - which is quite satisfying, like I unearthed a gem. And frankly they just look so cute when they sit there.
This whole event was spontaneous... Started by C2 who brought her book to the table. C1 couldn't miss out on some morning reading, so he followed suit.
They are so their father's children. He'd read at the table every morning if he could.
Oh and looking at it reminds me of a great breakfast D made for me this morning, what a catch he is!
