C gets the pots out everyday. If D or M is in the kitchen he'll play with them there for awhile but eventually and carries them to the coffee table. He then brings spatulas and spoons to do his work. Yesterday I think there were 9 pots and bowls on the table by the end of the day. When we wash a pot we have been cooking with, he waits for us to dry it and hand it to him and he gets right to work with it. He also LOVES to watch while we are cooking anything. He pushes his way between us and the stove and counter and yelps until we hold him and let him see the happenings. He thinks he is in heaven if he gets to stir something that we are cooking - he is quick to get his spatula in the game.
oohh...i love how he opens his mouth when he's working hard. cute. plus, good thing you have sturdy pots. he's serious.
