For everyone else who thinks, "They are so weird and disconnected from normal people . . ." we say . . . well, yeah, we are weird and nerds. But at least we don't mind each other!

My name is Valerie and this post brought me a huge smile and lots of chuckles. So when can we get together and talk some theory? BTW when Jesse was about 6 months old, he attended a conference with me. We arrived at the plenary speech (100s of audience members--J and I at the back of the large hall) just in time to hear the speaker explain the mirror stage. Just as she finished the explanation, Jesse let out a very loud yelp. Yikes! The speaker told him not to protest his phase in life.
