C knows how to make new friends fast (these are the children of D's last roommate at BYU, Adam). We spent a weekend at their time-share on the Lake of the Ozarks on a much needed break from school and work. D won Ticket to Ride while there, so obviously the trip was a success (and M even won Bonanza for the first time, known to others as the "bean game".)
It may not look exciting to anyone else, but M and D were delighted at C's first official time sitting up completely unassisted.
C took to boating right away (once we convinced him to stop chewing on his moldy life preserver). He was quite unafraid even though his parents were a bit nervous at times. Tubing was fun but painful!
D thought that C might be more excited about trying to steal a Wendy's frosty than nasty rice mixed with milk. As you can see, D was right about C's food preferences.
DP says, "what a little grimlin!" (about C).

I can't believe he's old enough to sit up by himself already!! He is seriously so cute. I love his huge smile on the boat ride -- so great!
